Tool making from stones has been practiced by our forefathers when they lived in jungles and were gradually developing their minds. With the time human got the idea of using iron instead of stones for making tools, the reason was that there were situations when the tools made of stone got broken, but the use of iron stools helped them to have stronger tools and effective for use.

Explanation:

When there were iron tools made, then a lot of change took place, like shaping the iron into desired shapes by heating them and hitting them. This lead to the origin of the iron age.

Answer:

Man first lived like an animal and slowly his thinking progressed. He first started using fire and began to make tools of stone in order to hunt easily. Later he got to know about the use of metals. The first metal he used to make tools was iron and this was a turning point in the Human history.

This lead man to further invent the uses of copper, bronze, gold, silver etc. Thus the time when man came to know the uses of iron and used it extensively is termed as the Iron age in the world history.
