difference between AAS and AES stains from their operating stand for "Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy"and AES stand for "Atomic Emission Spectroscopy". Both of these are spectroanalyticalmethods used in chemistry in order to quantify the amount of chemical spacies, in order words to measure the concentration of specific chemical species.AAS and AES differ in operating principle where AAS employs the method of absorption of light by the atoms and in AES the light emitted by the atom is what is taken into consideration.
