Answer: l

a) Floating plants have leaves that float on the water surface. Their roots may be attached in the substrate or floating in the water column. Submersed macrophytes are also rooted to the bottom but their leaves grow entirely underwater.

b) Fixed plants are aquatic plants or water living plants which have roots fixed to the bottom of the water body like ponds, long stem that can reach till the surface of water where they float and also they have flat broad waxy leaves which keeps dry and prevents rotting.

c) Underwater plants are plants that have adapted to living in aquatic environments (saltwater or freshwater). They are also referred to as hydrophytes or macrophytes to distinguish them from algae and other microphytes. ... Aquatic plants require special adaptations for living submerged in water, or at the water's surface.

d)Submerged plants are rooted plants with flaccid or limp stems and most of their vegetative mass is below the water surface, although small portions may stick above the water.
