1. Chennai experiences midday sun twice beacuse it lies in the torrid zone where the sun is overhead two times a year. Delhi does not experience this phenonema as it lies in the temperate zone.

2. When the poles are tilted towards the sun, they are inclined in such a way, that they have sunlight falling on them 24/7.

3. The sun is never overhead beyond the tropics because they mark the limit of overhead sun.
