Explanation:

Force is the push or pull on a body. In our day-to-day life, we can see or feel the effect of force applied by an object on another. So we can say that, the concept of force is related to its effect which are:

  • A force may move a body from rest.
  • A force may stop a moving body.
  • It can change the speed of the body.
  • It can change the direction of the body.
  • It can bring change in shape and size.

Coming back to the question:

Here we are asked to give two examples of effect of force in bringing change in shape and size of the body. So, let's see some examples from our daily life.

  • Pressing a balloon- Do you remember? How your friend popped a balloon by pressing it near your ears on your birthday. He was able to do so because balloon is made up of rubber and contains a lot of air inside it. Air is compressible which was compressed due to force applied by your friend.

  • Stretching a rubber band- When girls used to make a pony tail with their hair, they need something elastic to hold the hair. They use a rubber band for this purpose. The spring's size is increased by stretching and comes again to its original size after releasing. They gain their shape.

Hence our required examples are:

  • Pressing a balloon &
  • Stretching a rubber band.

More:

  • Kneading dough
  • Squeezing the sponge etc.

And we are done !!
