Hey Friend Here Is Your Answer,

1.Humans breathe, animals breathe, but do plants also breathe? Yes! Of course, plants breathe as well. We may not be able to see the process of respiration in plants, but it is happening. Let study below about respiration in plants.

2.The food in the leaves is transportedto all parts of the plant that's why itneeds living tissues and energy fortransportation. The vascular tissuethat transports food is called phloem. Phloem is present along with the xylem inside the plant bod

Hope it's helpful!!

1. No we cannot use roots instead of seeds to show that plants release co2 during respiration because for this experiment, we require living parts of the plant. Roots respire only when they are living. Once they are cut from the plant, they die. This is why only seeds can be used and not roots.

Hope this helps...
