*Plastic bags pollute our land and water.

*Plastic bags are made from non-renewable resources and contribute to climate change.

*Plastic bags never break down.

*Plastic bags are harmful to wildlife and marine life.

*Plastic bags are harmful to human health.

*Plastic bags are not easy to recycle.

*Plastic bags are costly to pay for and to clean up after.

*Plastic bags have external costs.

*There are better alternatives available, and jobs to go with them!.

*Other governments are banning plastic bags, so yours should too… or at least make people pay for them.

4. Toxic chemicals leach out of plastic and are present in virtually everybody’s blood and tissue. Exposure to them is related to tumors, birth defects, compromised immunity, disturbance of the endocrine system and other disorders.Human bodies absorb chemicals which are applied to plastics. Any of these substances have been found to modify hormones or other possible effects on human health. Wildlife may be harmed or killed by plastic waste, contaminated with chemicals and sometimes eaten by marine animals.

5. Rayon is known as regenerated fibre because it is manufactured from natural resources like cellulose present in wood pulp.

USES OF RAYON:-

*Rayon typically has an elevated luster quality giving it a brilliant gloss

* Mainly, Rayon fibres are used in apparel industry such as Aloha shirts, blouses, dresses, Jackets, Lingerie, scarves, suits, ties, hats and socks.

*Some rayon fibres are for filling in Zippo lighters, furnishings including bedspreads, bedsheets, blankets, window covers, upholstery and slipcovers.

6. SOME ADVANTAGES OF SYNTHETIC FIBRE:-

*Synthetic fibres are very durable and do not wrinkle easily.

*They are elastic and can be easily stretched out.

*They are strong and can sustain the heavy load.

*They are soft and hence used in clothing material.

*They are cheaper as compared to natural fibres.
