The reproduction that the organism Amoeba undergoes is through binary fission.

In this process, 2 cells of daughters are formed by the division of one parent Amoeba.

So, it can be said that the pre existing Amoeba, that is, the parent does not die but continues to exists as the 2 daughter cells.

Hence, Amoeba is said to be an immortal organism.
