1. conventional symbols are widely accepted signs or signs system which signify an idea or concept . they represent different features on a map and are not drawn to scales. they are important because symbols can be used to depict feautures like cities, road,and railways

2. POLITICAL MAPS :-

political maps focuses on boundaries between entities like countries or states . they are generally brighter colours to easily distinguish the boundaries

PHYSICAL MAPS :-

physical maps focuses on the geography of the area and will often have shaded relief to show the mountain and valleys

small scale map shows more territory but it is less detailed

LARGE SCALE MAP :-

large scale map shows only small area, but it show it in great detail
