1)mountains are useful to man bcoz they also give water and that water is used for irrigation and to generate the hydro electricity. mountains gives shelter to many living organism and they are rich in many species like flora and fauna .
2) plains are formed by the help of rivers and its tributaries. when rivers flows down the slopes of mountains ,it erodes them.
