1.ans) alveoli are bag like structure which gives the maximum surface area. Therefore it maximises the exchange gases.

2.ans) Hemoglobin carries oxygen to all parts of body.

So deficiency of haemoglobin can also cause deficiency of oxygen which leads to a severe disease called anaemia.
