The fiction history folklore and songs symbols etc helped to bring all the Indians under one umbrella that is they could be united using these as this brought the spirit of nationalism in them and they look back their past struggles to win against the injustice of the British government.this brought a sense of pride and honour to the Indians and made them to realize that they should be self reliant on themselves and to not give in to any foreign invaders. This was some of the reasons hope it helped you!!
