1) the life that existed on earth millions of years ago had simple body design and were usually given birth from the water sources that had emerged in the earth due to the cooling of the hotness of the planet.

2) it took millions of years for life to appear on earth because water was a main source for producing living organisms . when earth first came into being it was a hot mass of rock . and then on cooling produced water so eventually this was a long process

3) as the conditions on earth started to change the organisms started evolving to adapt to the new living situations that were being created.
