Answer:

1) Step 1: Insert a part of the leaf of a destarched plant into a conical flask containing Potassium Hydroxide (KOH).

Step 2: Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) solution absorbs the Carbon Dioxide (CO2) gas from the Air present in the conical flask.

Step 3: Keep the plant in Sunlight.

Step 4: After few hours, perform a Starch test to this and another leaf of the same plant.

Observation: The leaf which was exposed to the Atmospheric Air becomes Blue-Black. The leaf inside the flask containing Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) which absorbed Carbon Dioxide (CO2) becomes Brown instead of Blue Black.

Result: Sunlight and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) are essential factors for the process of Photosynthesis.

2) The process of which the food containing Large insoluble molecules are spitted into Small soluble molecules is called Digestion.

-> The different parts are involved and perform different functions by various Digestive juices and Enzymes.

-> We eat various types of Food which should be passed through the same digestive tracts, of our body.

-> It also has to be converted to substances made enough to utilized by the human body.

-> This needs various posses like the process of Mastification and the secretion of our Saliva.

3) : There are Seven Water soluble vitamins with their deficiency diseases:

(i) Thiamin: Beri - Beri is the deficiency disease and Symptoms are Vomiting, Fats etc.

(ii) Niacin: Pellagra is deficiency disease and Symptoms are Diarrhea, Memory Loss etc.

(iii) Riboflavin Acid:  Glossistis is the deficiency disease and Symptoms are Scaly Skin, Sore Tongue etc.

(iv) Pantothetic Acid: Burning of feet is the deficiency disease and Symptoms are Sprain etc.

(v) Pyridoxine: Anemia is the deficiency disease and Symptoms are Vomiting, Nausea etc.

(vi) Cynacobalamine: Pornicious Anemia is the deficiency disease and Symptoms are Lean and Weak intestine, Loss Appetite.

(vii) Folic Acid: Anemia is the deficiency disease and Symptoms are Diarrhea Nausea etc.

Answer:-1

To prove :-the necessity of carbon dioxide in photosynthesis following steps need to do

procedure:-

  • Insert a part of the leaf of a destarched plant into a conical flask containing potassium hydroxide.
  • Potassium hydroxide solution absorbs the carbon dioxide gas from the air present in the glass bottle.
  • Leave the plant sunlight.
  • After few hours, perform a starch test to this and another leaf of the same plant.

Observation-

Leaf exposed to the atmosphere are bluish black.Leaf exposed to KOH does not change to blue-black colour

Result- Starch is present in the green part of the leaf.

Conclusion- Presence of starch proves that chlorophyll is necessary for photosynthesis as it traps sunlight.

Answer:-2

Step 1: Mouth

To more easily absorb different foods, your saliva helps break down what you’re eating and turn it into chemicals called enzymes.

Step 2: Esophagus

Once your food is broken down from saliva and chewing, it moves through your esophagus, which is the pipe that connects your mouth to your stomach.

Step 3: Stomach

Your stomach is where food is stored and further broken down by acid and powerful enzymes. From there, food moves into the small intestine.

Step 4: Small Intestine

Most nutrients are absorbed in the small intestine, where food is broken down.

Step 5: Large Intestine, Colon, Rectum and Anus:-

The colon is a long muscular tube that connects the small intestine to the rectum. It’s responsible for processing waste.
