1.BINARY FISSION

A single parent is divided into two daughter cells e. g. Ameoba

MULTIPLE FISSION

A single cell can be divided into many daughter cells e. g. plasmodium

2. If a organism reproduces through asexual it have following characteristics

  • Rapaid mode of multiplication
  • fusion of male and female gamets not required
  • generally new one is identical or clone to their parents

If a organism reproduces through sexual reproduction it have following advantages

  • It is not rapaid mode of multiplication
  • fusion of male and female required
