Equatorial forests are located near the equator. Recieve heavy rainfall and climate is hot. Do not shed their leaves altogether. Remains evergreen throughout the year.

Temperate grasslands are found in the mid latitudanal regions.

Grass here is short and nutritious.

Never remain evergreen for a while even.

Equatorial forests are called lungs of the earth because they remain evergreen throughout the year and provide a lot of oxygen.
