1. A prokaryote is a single celled organism that doesn’t have a nuclei or other cellular organelles enclosed in a membrane. Eukaryotes in contrast are multi-cellular organisms whose cells have a distinct nuclei enclosed in a membrane and other organelles enclosed in membranes.

2. The cell will not be able to exchange material from its surroundings by diffusion or osmosis because it acts as a mechanical barrier.

3. If there is no Golgi apparatus, the plasma membrane would be affected because it needs to be able to grow larger for cell division.
