(2) Yes, Mr Lamb was equally lonely and dejected as he had lost his one leg during a war so he wears a fake leg made up of tin due to which everyone is scared of him and nobody wants to be friend with him also nobody talks to him which made him lonely so he started living alone.

(3) Roger Skunk's mother was justified in forcing him to retain his original smell as his original smell was a kind of protection to him without it he will not be able to protect himself when he would be in any kind of danger so his mother forced him to retain his original smell instead of that rose smell.
