Answer:

1)Pollination is the transfer of pollen from the anther (male organ of the flower) to the stigma (female organ of the flower) of the same or different flower. Fertilization occurs once the pollen grain reaches the stigma, it produces a pollen tube, which grows down through the style to the ovary. The pollen tube expands down the style to the opening of the ovary and deposits the male gamete at the egg. The male and egg each contain half of the genetic material needed to form a zygote which later develops into a new plant.

Answer:

  1. Pollination is the process of transfer of male gametes (pollen grains) in plants from the male reproductive part (anther) to the female reproductive part (stigma). Fertilization is the process of fusion of haploid male and female gametes to form a diploid zygote to initiate the development of a new individual.
  2. The seminal vesicle and the prostate glands add their secretions so that the sperm are in a fluid which makes their transport easier and this fluid also provides nutrition.
  3. Your hips, bottom and thighs will probably get bigger and rounder. Inside your body, your ovaries and womb will get larger. Pubic hair will start growing around your vagina and under your arms. ... You may get oily skin and hair, and spots (acne) may develop on your face and body.
  4. Embryo derives its nourishment from the mother's blood through the placenta. Placenta contains villi on the side of the embryo and blood vessels surrounding villi on the side of the mother. Oxygen and glucose pass from the mother to the embryo through the placenta.
  5. No. Copper-T which is placed in the uterus prevents pregnancy. It cannot prevent sexually-transmitted diseases
