There are six objectives of physical education. they are :-

1). Physical Development :- Physical development plays a vital roll of growing up as children learn to master control of their body, physical development include sitting, crawling, standing and walking.

2). Mental Development :-Physical activity can improve mental health by decreasing and preventing conditions such as anxiety and depression, as well as improving mood also.

3). Social Development :-Physical fitness and exercise help the children to develop important skills. Healthy behaviors are a positive side effect of exercise while also increasing social skills necessary for development.

4). Emotional Development :-Emotional development involves learning what feelings and emotions are, understanding how and why they occur, recognizing your own feelings and those of others.

5). Neuro-muscular coordination :- It is  the ability of our central nervous system to efficiently control and coordinate the contraction of a muscle,

6). Development of health : The children, who participates in regular physical activities, can improve their health and the state of well-being. Participation in physical activities is essential for their physical and psycho-social development.
