Refer to the attachment for the equation.

From the equation we can draw the following conclusion:

  • 1 mol of ZnCO3 produces 1 mol of ZnO and 1 mol of CO2.

Molecular weight of ZnCO3 = 125.4 g/mol

Molecular weight of ZnO = 81.4 g/mol

Now, ZnCO3 required to make 81.5 g of ZnO =125.4 g

So, ZnCO3 required to make 1 g of ZnO = 125.4/81.4 = 1.54 g

Thus, ZnCO3 required to make 97.2 g of ZnO = 1.54 × 97.2 g = 149.7 g

Hence, 149.7 g ZnCO3 produces 97.2 g of ZnO.

I hope it is clear.
