Hey Friend,
1. Ethanol to Ethene -
*Process -
Dehydration - it involves elimination of elements of water from alcohol.
*Reaction -
C2H5OH -----> C2H4 + H2O
*Catalyst -
concentrated H2SO4 at 170 degrees or Al2O3 at 350 degrees
2. Ethanol to ethanoic acid
*Process -
Oxidation - the process of combining oxygen to alcohol to given carboxylic acid.
*Reaction -
C2H5OH + [O] ----> CH3CHO + H2O
CH3CHO + [O] ----> CH3COOH + H2O
*Catalyst -
K2Cr2O7 (oxidizing agent) acidified with dilute H2SO4 at high pressure and low temperature
Hope it helps!

Hey there !!
Before writing its answer I would like to Give you clarification about
What processess are involved here
What is dehydration ?
Dehydration is that process by which water molecules are removed from a compound
For example -
CH₃ - CH₂OH ⟶ CH₂ =CH₂ + H₂O
( Ethanol ) ( Ethene ) ( Water )
Which is the conversation of ethanol to ethens
here in the presence of Con. H₂SO₄ , Ethanol is heated at 443K The water molecules get from ethanol and converted into ethene
Now let's know
What is oxidation reaction ?
Well oxidation Reaction is that reaction in which oxygen is added or Hydrogen is removed from it , You know what K₂Cr₂O₇ ( potassium dichromate ) or KMnO₄ ( Potassium permanganate ) Are present as oxidizing agents ?
well we can conclude now
CH₃ CH₂OH + [ O ] → CH₃COOH
( Ethanol ) ( Ethanoic acid )
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Now
A ) Ethanol to ethene
Conversation Process Name - Dehydration
B ) Ethanol to Ethanoic acid
Conversation Process Name - Oxidation Reaction
Hope this would help you !!
