11x-11y=11

x-y=1. ........(1) by adding

x-y=7........ ..(2) by subtracting

2x=8

x=4

4-y-1=0

-y-3=0

y=-3

Answer: 6x-5y = -2 ---------(i)

5x- 6y = -9--------(ii)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

USING SUBSTITUTION METHOD:

From equation (i)

6x-5y= -2

x = -2+5y/6-----(iii)

Putting x = -2+5y/6 in equation (ii).

5x-6y = -9

5(-2+5y/6) -6y = -9

-10+25y-36y = -54

-11y = -54+10

-11y = -44

y = 4

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Putting y = 4 in eq.(iii)

x = -2+5y/6

x = -2+5(4)/6

x = -2+20/6

x = 18/6

x = 3

So , x = 3 & y = 4
