Some key rules for preposition:

  • It must have an object for preposition.
  • Preposition have come before object but not always but it comes before noun and pronoun.
  • Preposition should be an object form not the subjective form.
  • There is no particular form for preposition. These can be one word or two ,three word .Two to three-word prepositions are called as complex prepositions.
  • Don't be confuse with preposition ‘to’ with infinitive ‘to’.
  • Don't get confuse with Verb because it can not become an object of a preposition.
