The vaccines helps the body for protecting the person against the infection or disease by the immune response generated by passive immunity,when a subsequent encounter takes place with the particular virus or the microorganism.Our body recalls the development of infectious agents and memory T-cells that can develop antibodies immediately upon further exposure to the infectious agents.There are vaccines against tetanus, smallpox,jaundice,measles and Now for Covid-19 etc.

Note: Herd immunity takes place when a huge sufficient portion of a population gets immunized against infection or unseen microscopic organisms.
