2. Principle of Centrifugation : Denser particles are forced to the bottom and the lighter particles stay at the top when spun rapidly.

3. Volume of alcohol = V₁ = 5.6 mL

   Volume of water = V₂ = 75 mL

   ∴ The total volume of the solution

       = V₁ + V₂

       = (5.6 + 75) mL

       = 80.6 mL

    Now, percentage of alcohol in the solution

    = [(Volume of alcohol, V₁ / Total volume of the solution) × 100]

    = (5.6/80.6) × 100

    = 0.069 × 100

    = 6.9 %
