1.

If 15 oranges costs 110/-

then one orange cost = 110/15 rupees

the cost of 39 oranges = 39 x 110/15 = 289 rupees

there fore 39 oranges cost 289/-

2.

In Rs.260 we can buy 8 kg of sugar.

In Rs.1 we can buy  kg of sugar.

In Rs.877.50 we can buy  kg of sugar.

In Rs.877.50 we can buy 27 kg of sugar.

Therefore, 27 kg of sugar can be bought for Rs.877.50.

3.

Cost of 37 metre of silk is Rs.6290

Cost of 1 metre of silk is Rs.6290/37

                                   =  Rs.170

Metre of silk that can be brought in Rs.4420 is

= Rs.4420 / Rs.170

= 26 m

Therefore 26 m silk can be brought in Rs.4420
