Hey

When a die is thrown once, the total no of out comes is 6 (1,2,3,4,5,6). Multiples of 2 are 2,4 and 6 and the multiples of 3 are 3 and 6. Number which is either a multiple of 2 or 3 are 2,3,4 and 6. Favourable cases are 4. Hence the probability of getting a number which is either a multiple of 2 or 3 is 4/6 =2/3.
