1.
If a pen costs Rs. 12.50
Then , number of pens can be bought with
Rs. 300 will be
total cost = cost of pen x number of pens
So,
Rs. 300 = Rs. 12.50 x N
N = Rs. 300 / Rs. 12.50
N = 24
So, total number of pens of cost Rs. 12.50 can be bought with Rs. 300 will be 24
2.
Circumference of circle = 2πr
C = 2 x π x r
If the radius of circle is 7cm,then
C = 2 x π x 7
C = 14 x π
But π = 22/7
So,
C = 14 x (22/7)
C = 2 x 22
C = 44cm

1. Cost of 1 pen = 12.50
No. Of pen bought with 300 =
300/12.50
= 24
2. Radius of circle (r) = 7
Circumference of circle = 2Πr
= 2×22/7×7
= 2×22
= 44
Hope it helps.
