[ Theorem :- Angle opposite to equal sides are equal.]
Therefore,
- AB = AC. ..........(1) (Given)
- ∠B = ∠C. ............[ By Theorem ]
- ∠B = 60°
By angle sum property of triangle,
∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°
∠A + 60° + 60° = 180°
∠A + 120° = 180°
∠A = 180° - 120°
∠A = 60°
