∠A = 60°

________________________

|| Given ||

  • AB = AC
  • ∠C = 60°

ll To find ||

  • ∠A = ?

Solution

[ Theorem :- Angle opposite to equal sides are equal.]

Therefore,

  • AB = AC. ..........(1) (Given)
  • ∠B = ∠C. ............[ By Theorem ]
  • ∠B = 60°

By angle sum property of triangle,

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

∠A + 60° + 60° = 180°

∠A + 120° = 180°

∠A = 180° - 120°

∠A = 60°
