Answer:

New side = 2a cm. So, new volume =(2a)3cm3=(8a3)cm3. So, the volume becomes 8 times.

Answer:

if side of cube is doubled , its volume becomes 8 times.

why ?

because volume of cube is a×a×a

if a is doubled..i.e it becomes 2× a i.e 2a

New side = 2a

so, now volume will become 2a× 2a × 2a i.e 8(a×a×a)

i.e 8 times into earlier volume
