3.A sample of gas takes up 5.6 liters at a temperature of 15 degrees celsius, at what temperature will the gas occupy 25 liters of space?
4. They had to chase down a hydraulic lift the boat that was pushing down on a 2.8 m² piston (A1) with a force of 3700N (F1). What force (F2) needs to be exerted on a .072 piston (A2) to lift the boat?

Given P1 = 35 kPa

V1 = 3.9L

P2 = 45 kPa

V2 = new volume = ?

P1V1 = P2V2

35×3.9 = 45×V2

136.5/45 = V2

V2 = 3.0333

new volume = 3.033 L

P2 = new pressure = ?

V2 = 8.9 L

P1V1 = P2V2

225×2.5 = P2 × 8.9

562.5/8.9 = P2
