so, perpendicular = 3

and base = 4

(hypotenuse)² = (base)² + (perpendicular)²

(hy)² = (4)² + (3)²

(hy)² = 16 + 9

(Hy)² = 25

hy = 5.

sec = hypotenuse/base

sec = 5/4

cos = base/hypotenuse

cos = 4/5
