⇒Mean=6+4+7+p+105

⇒Mean=27+p5

Given that the mean of 6, 4, 7, p and 10 is 8.

⇒Mean=8=27+p5

Considering the RHS of the above equation, we have,

⇒8=27+p5

Multiplying by 5 on both the sides, we get,

⇒40=27+p

⇒27+p=40

⇒p=40−27

⇒p=13

So, the value of p is 13.
