1 will be the difference between middle digits of largest and smallest among the given numbers after adding 3.

Given numbers

534 ,469 ,337 ,264 ,875

When 3 is added to each of the numbers then the numbers become

537, 472, 340, 267, 878

When they are arranged in increasing order,

267, 340, 472, 537, 878

Smallest number = 267

Largest number = 878

⇒Middle digit of smallest number among the given numbers after adding 3 is 6.

⇒Middle digit of largest number among the given numbers after adding 3 is 7

⇒The question asks to subtract the middle digit of smallest number from the middle digit of largest number

7 - 6 = 1

Option A, 1 is the required answer
