1. If the sum of zeroes of
the polynomial 2x2 + px + 11 is
11/2, then what is the value of p

Answer :-

p = - 11

Given that :-

polynomial = 2x^2 +px+11

sum of zeros = \frac{11}{2}

To find :-

the value of p

Solution :-

we know that

sum of zeros = \frac{-(cofficient \  of \ x)}{cofficient \  of \ x^2}

=> \frac{11}{2}=\frac{-p}{2}

=> -p=11

=> p=-11
