Answer: The distance between the applied pressure and the molecule of hydrogen gas are both inversely proportion i.e if pressure increases the distance decreases and if distance increases the pressure decreases.

Explanation:

Because when the pressure is exerted then the molecules comes closer to eachother. And If we apply more pressure on hydrogen gas in a particular volume of a container and as volume of container is not increased then the molecules are closed to eachother.
