I had a bad day today! I really had to pay a big price for my folly of inviting a lady to lunch. I am wiser now; embarrassing situations make us wiser. First of all I should not have invited her to lunch; secondly, I should not have taken her to Foyot's. it is one of the most expensive restaurants in Paris. The lady turned out to be a glutton. She kept saying she did not eat much, but I bet she could have eaten the entire food at the restaurant. I had only enough money to last a few days; and that also is spent. How shall I manage my rest of the month? I will never ever invite a stranger to any lunch or dinner.
