A s Deputy Commissioner of city, I will taken following Revolutionary steps to save my city from epidemic :

1. Strengthen the supply of essential items in the city.

Keeping in view the safety of my public in the city, I will first make sure                that a sufficient volume of essential goods and items are available in the city like grocery items, daily need goods, medicines etc. so that people may not get worried about shortage of any necessary or essential items.

2. logistics around online delivery platforms

I will strengthen Online delivery platforms for grocery items, medicines, vegetables etc. in terms of logistics support (procurement, movement, last-mile connectivity) to help them deliver essential goods to end-use customers. A functional online alternate and essential service delivery channel is an effective guarantee of ensuring that people stay at home.

3. Sanitization of hospitals, roads and market places

I will make sure that proper sanitization of all hospitals of the city, roads and markets so that epidemic may not widen up its spread.  

4. Relief and rehabilitation of stranded passengers

I will constitute a patrol team on road which will find and rescue migrant labourers and other stranded passengers from cities and towns. Police control room (PCR) will be utilised to provide mobile support to people in distress.

5. Associate NGOs: in facilities management

I will motivate  civil society and NGOs in particular for supporting the administration in facilitating public. Eligible NGOs will be registered and their services will be utilised in various emergency facilities.

6. Identification of needy/poor families

I will constitute a team of city SDM, Ward councilors,Patwari and Kanugos, who will visit each and every part of city and will identify needy and labour families who are presently unemployed and needs urgent attention.

7.  Integrated quick response (IQR) team and daily briefing

It is a war against the COVID-19 pandemic and for faster respose, an integrated quick response (IQR) team with officials from health, finance, civil supplies, home affairs, and other ministries like labour, women and child welfare, etc will be put in place to focus on tracking developments on 24*7 basis, analysing impacts, evaluating options, devising strategy and review of Implementation.

8. Awareness programmes on social distancing and Practice Respiratory Hygiene will be organized in the city.

9. Any act by any civilian, which will be violation of law and order,  will be seen seriously and suitable punishment will be imposed.

10. Security and safety of Doctors, health workers and other epidemic worrier will be my first priority.
