Given :

  • Total balls the batswoman played = 30 balls.
  • No. of times she hits the boundary = 6 times.

To Find :

  • She did not hit the boundary

Solution :

\longrightarrow\tt{Total\:balls=30}

\longrightarrow\tt{She\:hits\:the\:boundary=6\:times}

\longrightarrow\tt{30-6}

\longrightarrow\tt\bold{24\:times}

So , The batswoman did not hit boundary 24 times.

Now :

\longrightarrow\tt\bold{Probability=\dfrac{No.\:of\:fav\:Outcomes}{Total\:no.\:of\:Outcomes}}

\longrightarrow\tt{\cancel\dfrac{24}{30}}

\longrightarrow\tt\boxed{\dfrac{4}{5}}

Therefore , The probability that she did not hit the boundary is 4/5...

Accroding to the question,

Total number of balls = 30

Numbers of baundary = 6

So, number of times batswoman didn't hid the boundary = (30-6)=24

Probability she didn't hit a boundary = 24/30=4/5
