Solution :

Given that :

Total number of workers in the factory = 50

Percentage of male workers = 60%

And percentage of female workers = 40%

As we know that :

[ Percentage of any value = (Value/Total value) × 100 ]

=> Value = Total value × Percentage/100

According to the formula :

Number of male workers = 50 × 60/100 = 30

And number of female workers = 50 × 40/100 = 20

So, there are 30 male workers and 20 female workers in the factory.

Given :-

  • Percentage of male workers = 60%
  • Percentage of female workers = 40%
  • Total number of workers = 50

To Find :-

  • Nunber of female workers
  • Nunber of male workers

We know that :-

=&gt; Percentage = \frac{value}{total \: value}  \times 100 \:  \:  \:  \:  \\  </u><u>=  &gt; value =  \frac{total \: value \times percentage}{100}

Therefore :-

No. of male workers,

 =  &gt;  \frac{50 \times 60}{100}  = 30

No. of female workers,

 =  &gt;  \frac{50 \times 40}{100}  = 20
