Total trees in forest = 40000

A. T. Q

Trees increase per year = 40000x5/100 = 2000 trees in 1 year

In 3 years trees = 3x2000

=6000

Total trees after 3 years in forest

= 6000 + 40000

= 46000 trees is ans.

1) Principal amount = 40,000
Time = 3 years
Rate = 5%

CI = 40,000( 1+5/100)^3
= 40,000(21/20)^3
40,000*9261/8000
= 5* 9261
= 46,305

So the number of trees at the end of three years would be 46,305
