Given,

Corresponding to the sides AB and AD are respectively  7 cm and 8 cm.

To Find,

AD = ?

Solution,

Area of parallelogram = Base * Corresponding altitude.

∴ Area of parallelogram ABCD,

==> AD * BN = AB * DM

==> AD * 8 = 10 * 7

==> AD * 8 = 70

==> AD = 70/8

==> AD = 8.75 cm

Result,

Value of AD = 8.75 cm.
