1. In a triangle ABC, AB = AC and angle A = 50°, find angle B and angle C​

Answer:

Given, a triangle ABC & AB=AC

and, A=50°

Since, AB=AC ie. angle B= angle C

We know that,

angle A +angle B+ angle C= 180°

= 50° +2 angleB =180°

=2angleB=180°-50°

=angle B=130°/2

=angle B=65°

Therefore, angle C =angle B

=65°

Solution :-

It is Given that,

  • Angle A = 50°
  • AB = AC.

AB = AC.

Angle B = Angle C. (C.P.C.T.)

According To The Question,

A° + B° + C° = 180° (A.S.P.)

➝ 50° + B° + C° = 180°

Here, Angle B = Angle C.

➝ 50° + B° + B° = 180°

➝ 50° + 2B = 180°

➝ 2B = 130°

➝ B = 130 ÷ 2.

➝ B = 65°

Therefore,

  • B° = C° = 65°
