an AP if a= 4 that means first term of the AP is 4.

n=7 i.e there are 7 terms in the AP.

an=4 i.e nth term of the A.P is 4

We know that an=a+(n-1)d

So 4=4+(7–1)d

=>4–4=6d

=>0=6d

=>d=0
