1) no of players to be selected = 11 from 16
no of ways = ¹⁶C₁₁
2 players to be excluded ⇒ 2 players won't be in the selection procedure
therefore we have to chose 11 players from 16-2=14 players
no of ways = ¹⁴C₁₁
2) no of guys to be chosen = 3 out of 7
therefore no of ways = ⁷C₃
