1. Embryo ; Blastocyst is composed of an outer envelope of cells, the trophoblast and the inner cell mass (embryoblast). The trophoblast layer then gets attached to the endometrium and the inner cell mass gets differentiated as the embryo. After attachment, the uterine cells divide rapidly and cover the blastocyst. As a result, the blastocyst becomes embedded in the endometrium of the uterus this is called implantation.

2. Growth hormone (hormone from anterior lobe (adenohypophysis) of pituitary) ; Also known as Somatotrophic hormone (STH), stimulates growth by stimulating protein synthesis. Hypersecretion leads to gigantism and acromegaly and hyposecretion leads to dwarfism.
