In △ABC and △ABD,

AC=AD (Given)

∠CAB=∠DAB (AB bisects ∠A)

AB=AB (Common)

∴△ABC≅△ABD (By SAS congruence rule)

∴BC=BD (By CPCT)

∴, BC and BD are of equal lengths.
