So, (LM)² + (MN)² = (LN)²

or, 7² + 24² = x²

or, x² = 49 + 576

or, x² = 625

or, x = √625 = 25

ii) ΔQPR is also a right angled triangle .

So,(QP)² + (QR)² = (PR)²

or, 9² + x² = 41²

or, x² = 41² - 9²

or, x² = 1681 - 81

or, x² = 1600

or, x = √1600

or, x = 40

iii) ΔEFD is also a right angled triangle .

So,(FD)² + (ED)² = (EF)²

or, x² = 17² - 8²
