1 . It helps growing plant faster thansexual reproduction

2 . sepal - it encloses the entire flower and protects it when flower is in the stage of bud

petal - it help in pollination

pistil - it is female part of flower . It release female gametes

steman - it is male part of flower it releases male gametes

3 . transfer of pollen grains in same flower is called self pollination

transfer of pollen grains in another flower of the same kind is called cross pollination

4 . after the pollen are passed it fertilzes the vile and fruit forms

5 . It is important to out the species rather they die or become extinct

Answer:

1) Vegetative propagation takes less time to produce a new plant . A farmer can grow flowers of more than one colour by applying vegetative propagation . purity of breed can be maintained by vegetative propagation.

3) _self pollination_

I) pollen grains r transferred to the stigma of the same flower.

ii) plant dose not need help of pollinating agent.

_cross pollination_

I) pollen grains are transferred to the stigma of a different flower.

ii) plant needs help of a pollinating agent.

4) After fertilization petals and sepals usually fall off . develops into a fruit, so that nutrition can be provided to the developing seed .

5) If all seed would fall near the parent plant and geminate , there would be too many plantlets in a smaller area . the plantlets shall not be able to get adequate amount of sunlight, oxygen, moisture, etc . As a result , most of the plants would not survive . hence , it is important that new plants grow up far away the parent plant . for this, the seed , the seeds should be spread far wide.

2) #sepals- sepals are green in colour and leaf like structure they protect the inner part of the flower at budding stage.

#petals- petals are usually of bright colour like red , pink etc the bright colour of petals attract insets this helps in pollination.

#stamen- stamen is the male reproductive part of flower it is compost of an anther and filament .

#overy- ovary is the female reproductive part of the flower it has a swollen base tube like structure on the top . the top part is called stigma. and the swollen base is called ovary

ovary produce ovules.
